1.China on 2 December 2013 successfully sent an unmanned lunar probe -Chang'e-3 with a robotic rover to soft land on the Moon, and to explore moon’s surface.

The Election Commission on Monday issued a notice to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa for prima-facie violation of the Model Code of Conduct by announcing new schemes ahead of December 4 Yercaud Assembly bypoll. The Model Code states ministers and other authorities shall not announce any financial grants in any form or promises like construction of roads, provision of drinking water facilities, which may have the effect of influencing voters in favour of the party in power.
10. India's current account gap narrowed sharply to USD 5.2 billion, or 1.2 percent of GDP, in the July-September quarter of 2013-14 on the back of turnaround in exports and decline in gold imports. Contraction in the trade deficit coupled with a rise in net invisibles receipts resulted in a reduction of the CAD to USD 26.9 billion (3.1 percent of GDP) in H1 of 2013-14

The RBI  plans to start an exercise to identify bank that are systematically important (SIB)in India.It will be done in through 2 step.In first step a sample of the banks will be drawn up based on size,cross-jurisdictional  activity,complexity,lack of substitutability and inter-connectedness.The idea is to head off the moral hazard of 2008 financial crisis erupted ,promoting the US administration to bail out the big banks that were popularly classfied as being” too big to fail”(TBTF).
